Hi Hugh,

I understand your point.
For me (as not a scalper trader) MyFXbook give me all the informations without the chance of manually mistakes and without any calculations for your profit/loss.

I also used the Trade Journal software (The 4x Journal) have a look maybe you like it.

Have a great trades…

Ciao

Claudio

Hi Claudio,

I understand what you are saying and I believe that you should do what works best for you. My goal is just to provide you with some starting points. My issue with MyFxBook is that you cannot easily see the charts, you have to click the pencil, then click each chart individually again. For the way I trade, it is most helpful to see the open, close and secondary review chart right away and compare the patterns. In Evernote, when I move to the next note, I already see the charts…no more additional clicks.

If MyFxBook did that, I would not use Evernote.

Hope your trading is going well.

All great ideas thanks

I personally started with Evernote and did the same you are doing but it was quite time consuming and the copy paste system can lead to mistakes, now I am trying to simplify and I am using all statistics info from myfxbook so I don’t have to fill up any trades entries/exit and I attached the screenshots token from Skitch app. with the necessary charts drawings and comments plus any comment about the reason of the trade.
So when you want double check any trade you can do it on myfxbook is seconds and you have all the technical correct info plus with a click your chart before and after the trade with your personal comments, this way give a more accurate info and will included all the trades with no chance to delete the bad one.

Just my thought

Ciao

Claudio

Hi,

Yes, that is a great solution! I would still want to see a chart, along with a voice note though.

But whatever works best for you.

Cool, thanks for sharing. A good alternative to Evernote, for sure!

I use onenote with a lot of scrren shots for my journaling along with Myfxbook to help with analysis. Arrows on the chart show my current and historical trade details (entry and exits.)
