I haven’t tried it. But I know that you can get free VPN if you download the developer version of Opera on desktop. The limitation with that is there are only a few countries available. So it might be the same for Android.

My opinion is that VPN servers cost money to run and if I’m not paying for it (AKA free), then it is more likely that whoever is paying for it, is going to do what is in their best interest. For better or worse.

I’m not prepared to take that chance for a few dollars a month.
