I looked at it before for a friend who wanted to start a signal service. The solution wasn’t really clear and needed to be tested. The bottom line was that you need to find a third party service that can do a distribution list. That third party service also has to have the structure in place to get those emails delivered (and not caught in spam filters). There are a few around, but they would have to be tested.

Then have MT4 email the email for that distribution list every time there is a signal. If you are going to do it just with a group of friends, you may be able to do something in Outlook on the same PC that MT4 is on, but I haven’t looked into that.

There are some promising apps that might be able to do it, if your users have smartphones, but I haven’t had the time to really test them.

If you check the update at the bottom of the post, this technique doesn’t work anymore because GMX stopped it. You have to use the paid technique, check out the link in the update.

It depends if you are using the free GMX email or a paid hosted plan. If you are using the free GMX service, then follow the instructions in this post. If you are paying for hosting and are using an email address in that account then follow the link on the bottom to the post on setting it up for a paid host. If you are using a paid host, the SMTP server will usually be: smtp.your-domain.com
