Use single color HLC bar chart, and remove the open price. Single color vol bar as well. That will keep you calm and focus when reading charts. Dan Zanger made his millions doing this.

Excellent material, I’ve been trading with black and white charts since I started trading, even studies have shown that certain colors stress the hell out of us, including children. That’s the reason why we should pick out colors wisely as our friends.
