Awesome! I’m always happy to hear when traders find a good strategy/personality match in the beginning of their journey.

Yeah, I see it over and over, if you don’t get the timeframe right from the start, you are fighting a major uphill battle.

Thankfully I found a course that resonated straight away. After watching several hours of videos of his on YouTube, I got in, quite low cost.

It was a great grounding.

Initially, I joined a Facebook group but so many people doing so many different things was confusing and exhausting. Trading on 1M TF and low TFs is like trying to walk down the M25 during rushour! I hated it. Daily, 4h suit my personality and look for good entry point on 1h or 30m.

Going live, after six months in demo, has been challenging. But, working daily on trading mindset, it is coming together.

A great article that I’ve shared in the group. I know a lot won’t read it because they think it’s all about having a good strategy. I had (have) a great strategy in place, well tested on demo, but it went awol for first few weeks. I couldn’t get past breakeven. Thankfully, my risk & money management is solid so my account hasn’t ever been damaged.

In reply to steveo. Thanks, yeah it's a pretty common experience in trading. It's a bit of the chicken and the egg though. If you don't try a few courses, you can't figure out what works for you. While I'm totally for trying out a few courses, I want to save people from spending too much during this exploration phase. Hope your trading is going well!

Funny thing, I’ve been on that very path, it started on the wrong slope. I wish those “experts” would have provided the same insight you did so eloquently in a few paragraphs, instead a cleverly orchestrated sales funnel to have me remove my wallet, input my credit card and waste more time on a program vs understanding me first, then the program second.

Waw, you really understand the journey. I started in October 2017 with Forex and this whole week I spent time searching for a Expert Advisor solution to my strategy ,after blowing my account. Since my beginning the trading personality was shared with me but thanks to this article I see the value of it.
