Let's take a look at them one-by-one.<\/p>\n<h2>Google Alerts<\/h2>\n<p>The first step is to setup <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/alerts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Alerts<\/a> for the news items that you want to follow. These are simply Google searches that you can save and access at any time.<\/p>\n<p>A good one to start with is &#8220;crude oil news.&#8221; If you trade the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/cad-jpy-oil-correlation-explained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">oil related currency pairs<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few examples that you can start with. They will need to be refined to get what you want.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10658\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/google-alerts-for-traders.jpg\" alt=\"Using Google alerts for traders\" width=\"600\" height=\"462\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can actually do a lot with Google searches. To see all of the cool things you can do, <a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/websearch\/answer\/2466433?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">read this guide<\/a>\u00a0on search operators.<\/p>\n<p>For each search, you will need to set them up as RSS feeds. This will allow you to use them in the next step.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To get exactly what you want (or pretty close), you my have to experiment with the\u00a0different options.<\/strong> For example, I use <em>News<\/em> and <em>Finance<\/em> sources for this feed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10660\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/rss-feed.jpg\" alt=\"rss feed for trading\" width=\"412\" height=\"308\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have some searches setup, you can't actually use them just yet. That is where Feedly comes in&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Feedly<\/h2>\n<p>Now that you have some custom RSS feeds setup, it is time to put them all in one place. Feedly is a free RSS reader that makes it super easy to make your searches easier to read.<\/p>\n<p>Setup an account and login to your dashboard. Then click on the <em>Add Content<\/em> button.<\/p>\n<p>Then copy and paste the RSS link from each of your Google Alerts into the search field.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10661\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/add-feed.jpg\" alt=\"add rss feed\" width=\"600\" height=\"153\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To get the RSS link, right-click the link and save the link.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10663\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/save-as.jpg\" alt=\"Save the link\" width=\"325\" height=\"242\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>An added bonus is that you can also add RSS feeds directly from different trading\u00a0related\u00a0websites.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can add blogs, trading forums or any news website. In this example, I have a category for trader blogs that I follow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10664\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/feeds.jpg\" alt=\"trading feeds\" width=\"252\" height=\"290\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>That's all there is to it. You can always change your currency news sources and Google searches according to what you need and what you are trading.<\/p>\n<p>This is the most efficient and customizable way that I have found to get all of my news in the same place.
