They are those little colored tags that you can add next to the symbols in your watchlist.<\/p>\n<p>I'm going to be using it with Forex pairs in this post, but you can do the same thing with stocks, futures, CFDs, cryptocurrencies indexes and economic indicators.<\/p>\n<p>If you don't want to watch the video, the text version is provided below.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hM-25YEJjXk\" width=\"840\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>Color Code and Meanings<\/h2>\n<p>Here's what I use the colors for. They make it very easy to see which pairs I have to check, journal and trade.<\/p>\n<p>I can see the status of my whole list, at a glance.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17026 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-08-at-2.24.42-PM.png\" alt=\"TradingView colors of Flagged Symbols\" width=\"115\" height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Red:<\/strong> Trades I missed. You can learn why I feel it's important to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/journal-missed-trades\/\">journal missed trades here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Orange:<\/strong> Trades that are close to setting up<\/li>\n<li><strong>Green:<\/strong> Open trades<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purple:<\/strong> Trades I'm watching, but aren't close to setting up yet<\/li>\n<li><strong>Blue:<\/strong> Trades that should be journaled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Obviously you can use the colors in any way you see fit, but I just wanted to give you some ideas. You might only need to use 3 colors and that's great too.<\/p>\n<h2>Using the Filters<\/h2>\n<p>TradingView also makes it easy to filter your watchlist by flag color.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if I only want to watch the pairs in which I'm close to executing a trade, I'll filter my watchlist to only see the orange flags.<\/p>\n<p>When I sit down to journal, I'll filter the blue and red flags and add those trades to my trading journal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17031\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2019-07-08-at-5.44.24-PM.png\" alt=\"TradingView watchlist\" width=\"120\" height=\"278\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Conclusion<\/h2>\n<p>So that's how you use <strong>TradingView Flagged Symbols<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>They are an easy way to see the status of each of your charts, at a glance. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingheroes.com\/tradingview-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TradingView<\/a> does a really good job of making their platform super user friendly and this is a perfect example of how they listen to their users and implement elegant solutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TradingView flagged signals makes it easy to see the status of your trades at a glance.
