Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies – MAPS<\/h2>\n

\"MAPS<\/p>\n

The “War on Drugs” has made a few therapeutic substances illegal and it's a shame because they have the potential to improve the mental health of millions of people around the world.<\/p>\n

Psychedelics should obviously be used responsibly because there are potential downsides, like with any other substance.<\/p>\n

But scientific studies coming out of organizations like MAPS are showing that when they are used in a clinical setting with experienced therapists, the results are nothing short of amazing. They have the power to help people with serious mental issues.<\/p>\n

I would like to see more studies on these substances because in our modern always-on world, mental disease is a serious problem. Their studies have been very promising.<\/p>\n

A good place to find a charity that you believe in is Charity Navigator. They are an organization that researches charities and helps you find the most reputable ones.<\/p>\n

Charities are rated on financial health, transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n
