In the previous list<\/a>, I gave you my picks for best books to improve your trading psychology.<\/p>\n …but I left a few out.<\/p>\n Why?<\/p>\n Well, because some people might consider the following books a little too…weird.<\/p>\n Most traders aren't able to start with these books because they deal with very advanced concepts, which only make sense after you have tried all the traditional stuff.<\/p>\n Once you have read all of the “usual” trading psychology books and you find that they aren't resolving all of your challenges, then it's time to read these books.<\/p>\n They will give you a deeper understanding of how to heal your hidden traumas, upgrade your mindset and become a better trader…and human being.<\/p>\n Before I get into the list, here are more resource lists that you might find useful:<\/p>\n I highly recommend subscribing to Audible<\/a> to listen to trading books.<\/p>\n Listening to books in your car or while working out is a great way to leverage your time by doing two things at once.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By Doc Lew Childre, Howard Martin, Donna Beech\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Brain and heart coherence is a big key to improving your health and helping you become a successful trader.<\/p>\n The heart contains a group of neurons that act like a mini brain. Scientific studies have shown that the heart actually sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to our heart.<\/p>\n Coaches of top hedge fund managers and professional sports teams use heart coherence to create a state of peak performance. If it works for them, it can work for you too.<\/p>\n By Dr. Bradley Nelson<\/strong><\/p>\n The Emotion Code is so powerful because it's so easy to do, and so effective.<\/p>\n You don't need to pay for a private therapist or go to an expensive workshop. This book is all you need.<\/p>\n These simple exercises can be done on yourself and they help you release traumas that are trapped in your body. Releasing these traumas can have a huge positive impact on your health and mindset.<\/p>\n I have personally released dozens of negative emotions with this therapy. One emotion that I released actually made me so tired that I had to lie down for about half an hour. I felt a sense of relief and tiredness from hanging on the the emotion.<\/p>\n At the same time, I also felt energized because the energy that was used to hold on to that emotion was now freed up. It was an odd mixture of feelings, but it was extremely liberating.<\/p>\n By Samuel Sagan, M.D.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Samuel Sagan is the founder of the Clairvision school of healing.<\/p>\n If I saw this book at the bookstore, I would have just written it off as another book on meditation. However, after going to a Clairvision therapist, I'm a firm believer in this healing modality.<\/p>\n “Awakening your third eye” might sound a little fluffy. But once you actually experience it, the tangible results are nothing short of profound.<\/p>\n I was able to heal hidden traumas that were holding me back in life, in just 4 sessions. It can be a little challenging to do this therapy on your own, so I highly recommend seeing a trained Clairvision therapist.<\/p>\n Edited by Roger Walsh and Charles S. Grob\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n This is the most complete and scientifically-backed book that I have read on the results of psychedelic therapies.<\/p>\n It's a well-balanced look at the benefits, as well as the downsides.<\/p>\n The positive results with these types of treatments have been nothing short of amazing. These clinical studies were carried out before LSD and other psychedelic substances were made illegal.<\/p>\n Psychedelic therapy isn't for everyone and I'm certainly not recommending that you do it. But if it's a possibility that you want to explore, then this is the book to read. Freeing yourself of past trauma can take your trading and your life to the next level.<\/p>\n It has helped me more than I can express in words.<\/p>\n By Bruce H. Lipton\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n When I got my degree in Biology, we were taught that our DNA determines our biology and it cannot be changed.<\/p>\n Bruce Lipton's work has shown that this is simply not true.<\/em><\/p>\n Our DNA does give us some inherited traits. But the expression or repression of our genes is ultimately controlled by our thoughts.<\/p>\n This revolutionary discovery and shows that we have more power to control our lives than we thought. So take control of your body and your future. This book is a great place to start.<\/p>\n By Gerald Powell<\/strong><\/p>\n Gerry Powell was messed up.<\/p>\n He had made over $90 million from the sale of his company.<\/p>\n But he had multiple addictions, was deeply unhappy and was on the brink of suicide.<\/p>\n Learn how he turned it around and became one of the most influential forces for good in the world.<\/p>\n That's not an exaggeration. I've met Gerry IRL and he's the real deal. His healing center in Costa Rica had a tremendous positive impact on my life.<\/p>\n This is the book that convinced me to visit Rythmia in Costa Rica. I talk about it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n By Dr. Brian L. Weiss<\/strong><\/p>\n Past lives have nothing to do with religion.<\/strong><\/p>\n They are a fact…just like gravity. If you doubt me, read the 2,500+ studies that were done at the University of Virginia.<\/p>\n If you don't want to look up those studies, just read this book.\u00a0It's very easy reading and shows how past lives can affect your current life.<\/p>\n I've personally experienced profound<\/em> healing through past life regression. All the trading psychologists I talked to analyzed my childhood. But it turns out that I had a pretty good childhood.<\/p>\n Some of my major issues were actually from my past lives.<\/strong><\/p>\n There are many talented therapists out there who can do past life regressions.<\/p>\n But if you are skeptical, read this book first.<\/p>\n By Mark Wolynn<\/strong><\/p>\n Another hidden source of trapped traumas is family inheritance. Just like you got your nose from your Dad and your height from your Mom, you could have also inherited emotional traumas from previous generations of your family.<\/p>\n Like with past lives, this one may be a little hard to believe. But this is the best book I have read on the topic and it might make a believer out of you too.<\/p>\n I was personally carrying trapped trauma that I inherited from my Great Grandfather on my Dad's side. I never met him, but I was still carrying his sadness and frustration.<\/p>\n Once I was able to resolve those emotions, I experienced a huge positive mindset shift.<\/p>\n By Stanislav and Christina Grof<\/strong><\/p>\n Some people have profound experiences with Breathwork. They compare it to taking psychedelics.<\/p>\n …and all you're doing is breathing. My experiences haven't been that profound.<\/p>\n But I have released a tremendous amount of stress and tension in my breathwork sessions. It has also helped me clear my mind and become more focused.<\/p>\n If you are against taking substances, then this could be the therapy for you.<\/p>\n By Dan Millman\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Alright, since we are already into some pretty unusual topics, let's finish off this list by talking about birthdays. Your birthday can determine your strengths and challenges in life.<\/p>\n My wife and I both tried it and the readings were spot on. A little scary accurate, in fact.<\/p>\n This is easy to do.
