The Problem: You only have one trading account, but you want to track multiple trading systems individually.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Doing this can make you feel like a circus clown, juggling multiple systems at once.<\/p>\n

Keeping track of the performance of each trading method can be a painful experience.<\/p>\n

But it doesn't have to be.<\/p>\n

This post will show you the easy way to automatically journal your trades, then tag each trade so you can track the performance of each individual trading system.<\/p>\n

The Solution<\/h2>\n

Luckily, this is easy to do with MyFxBook<\/a>.\u00a0 Once you setup your account<\/a>,<\/p>\n

MyFxBook will automatically start to journal all the trades you take.<\/p>\n

After you a few trades available login to your account.<\/p>\n

When you click on the History<\/em> tab, it will look something like this.<\/p>\n

Then click on the tag icon on the left side of each trade.<\/p>\n

This will show the tags dialog box.<\/p>\n

Click on the Edit Tags<\/em> link to create a new tag.<\/p>\n

You can choose a different colors to represent the different methods you are trading.<\/p>\n

After the tag is created, it will appear in the Tags Available<\/em> section.<\/p>\n

Click on an available tag to tag that trade.<\/p>\n

Tag all of the trades with the method you used to take that trade.<\/p>\n

After all of your trades are tagged, it is now time to see how each method is performing.<\/p>\n

Now go to the top of the screen and click on the Custom Analysis<\/em> link.<\/p>\n

A box will appear that will give you different options on what you want to analyze.<\/p>\n

Click on the Tag<\/em> tab to choose a tag or multiple tags.<\/p>\n

Check the boxes of the tags you want to analyze.<\/p>\n

In this example, we are going to examine the performance of the Pivots system.<\/p>\n

Click on the Analyze<\/em> button to show the custom analysis.<\/p>\n

Now the data that you see on the screen will only be shown for the trading systems that you chose.<\/p>\n

This is how only the Pivots system performed during the reporting period.<\/p>\n

As you can see, this method makes it super easy to track the performance of individual trading systems within a single account.<\/p>\n

Since most of the journaling work is already done for you, all you have to do is add the right tag to each trade.<\/p>\n
